The Postdoctoral Research Program at the Juniper Gardens Children’s Project (JGCP) is recruiting one postdoctoral researcher interested in developing expertise in translation of research into practice to improve outcomes for individuals with Autism-Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD) in school/post-secondary settings. We are seeking 1-2 full-time CW-FIT Research Project Coordinators to expand the evidence-based CW-FIT intervention to rural schools by utilizing a CW-FIT Micro-credentialing program embedded in a Rural Coaching Model. Rural Coaches will be trained by CW-FIT Trainers and will then, in turn, train teachers. The research project focuses on implementing the rural coaching model in elementary & middle school classrooms to enhance classroom management and improve student’s academic performance. The Juniper Gardens Children’s Project is seeking to hire an Assistant Researcher to assist with an NIH funded research project. This study examines a social communication intervention for autistic children who have complex communication needs, and attend local community preschool programs. We are seeking an Assistant Researcher to work 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week) with guidance from the project Principal Investigator and Project Coordinator on a multi-site research team. This individual will be responsible for coaching preschool staff implementers, providing communication interventions to autistic preschoolers, and communicating with early service providers and families. Other responsibilities will include administering child developmental assessments, collecting child behavioral data, data entry and management, recruitment assistance, and team collaboration.
