Biography —
Antonia is a member of both the Northern Arapaho and Hunkpapa Lakota tribes. She recently relocated from Wyoming to Lawrence, Kansas. She comes from a large, close-knit family that continues to reside in Wyoming, with the exception of her sister, who is currently in her final year at the University of Kansas.
Antonia enjoys spending time with her family, participating in cultural events and ceremonies, watching sports, and spending time outdoors.
She holds a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with a minor in Native American Studies, from the University of Wyoming.
Antonia’s professional background is rooted in education, with a strong focus on Native American/Indigenous education. She is deeply passionate about curriculum development and its role in enhancing student achievement. Her experience spans working with K–12 students and teaching college-level courses in both Native American and Indigenous Studies (NAIS) and elementary education.
