Barbara Terry-Campbell

Dr. Barbara J. Terry is a former elementary school teacher who has worked at the Juniper Gardens Children’s Project (JGCP) for over 40 years. She is a co-developer of the ClassWide Peer Tutoring (CWPT) program and has done extensive CWPT teacher training locally and nationally. She has conducted systematic research on CWPT and related computer technology and has actively participated in prior longitudinal research studies using CWPT. Dr. Terry directed a project and developed a teachers’ manual and accompanying computer software for the CWPT Beginning Reading program for kindergarten and first grade students. Since 2013 she has served as the building liaison for the Children’s Campus of Kansas City where JGCP is housed.
