Laura Malagon Palacios

Laura is a current Graduate Research Assistant at Juniper Children's Project. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Applied Behavioral Science at the University of Kansas and worked as an RBT at a Montessori school before starting her graduate studies. As a School Psychology PhD student at KU, her research interests include understanding mental health needs for children from diverse backgrounds, culturally responsive interventions, appropriate clinical diagnosis and academic success.
