Biography —
Dr. Sara Diaz de Villegas (She/Her/Hers) is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst with over 10 years of experience serving a variety of individuals across the lifespan with and without intellectual disabilities in preschools, clinics, large community-based programs, and adult residential day service programs. Dr. Diaz de Villegas earned her Ph.D. in Behavioral Psychology from the University of Kansas. Previously, she was a postdoctoral research fellow at JGCP with Drs. Brian Boyd and Jay Buzhardt. Her research interests include caregiver and parent training, telehealth training, assessment and treatment of behavioral disorders, and culturally adapting and translating Behavior Analytic training resources to Spanish for parents and caregivers of children with autism spectrum disorders. She is excited to enter into this new role as an Associate Researcher and contribute to the rich history of research at JGCP and collaborate with community partners.
