I come from a small community of Window Rock, AZ, on the Navajo Nation. After graduating from Window Rock High School, I decided to pursue my education at Haskell Indian Nations University. I hold an Associate of Arts degree in Communication and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Indigenous and American Indian Studies. I recently graduated from the University of Kansas with a master's degree in Indigenous Studies, with an emphasis on Diné water rights. This fall, I will be continuing my education in the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) PhD program.
